Hm, what is the brown sugar for then? I'm going to caramelize the bananas with a little of it, some syrup, and butter! Mmmmm.
this is a very good recipe... I fixed these this morning for my famiy
/ however I didn't top with the banannas or homemade syrup.... Which sounded
Great to me/ but not to my hubby.... Anyway i was impressed with the
Flavor/ texture/ the crisp outside/... Very easy to make as well...!
Not good... directions are unclear. Ingredients seem out of proportion. Just made my first waffle, and it looked and tasted terrible. Keep searching for another banana walnut waffle recipe!
This is a very bad recipe. The directions are unclear (what is the brown sugar for?). Worst of all, it calls for WAY too much salt, resulting in salty, terrible tasting waffles.
I just made these waffles and I followed the directions exactly and they turned out
AWFUL!!! They taste terrible and they look even worse! FIND A DIFFERENT RECIPE!
just curious 11 tsp of vanilla????? that seems like quite alot. and what's the brown sugar for????
Some of these comments are funny. The brown sugar is added with the dry ingredients. And the recipe calls for 1 tsp of vanilla not 11. If you actually read and follow the recipe, they turn out just like waffles. Or just use bisquick if that's too hard.
I just made these, thought it sounded great but turned out to be soggy and gross.
ummmm....banana walnut waffles....i thought and expected the dough to have mashed bananas in there...hmm...??
